To position UCLA to convince prospective medical students to choose UCLA (the only public top-ten nationally ranked medical school) over Ivy League competitors, led a branding, messaging and recruitment campaign to successfully grow YoY applicants by 38%. The school’s digital pivot was awarded “Best Overall Internet,” “Best Site Design,” and “Best Rich Media” at the 2021 eHealthcare Awards and celebrated by the Shorty Awards for reimagining how a leading university integrates digital and offline experiences to serve students. By partnering with school leadership and guiding boutique agencies to build category-leading interactive content, UCLA’s virtual recruitment campaign distinguished the brand from category competitors by successfully articulating the “soul” of the brand.
